Honoring Edith Vanderbilt
The NC Mountain State Fair is proud to offer the 2025 Youth Livestock Endowment in honor of Edith Vanderbilt, a passionate advocate for agriculture and youth development. This endowment supports young people who have participated in livestock exhibitions at the NC Mountain State Fair—regardless of breed, class, or show placement.
Eligibility:
All past and present youth exhibitors are encouraged to apply each year they are enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning—community college, technical school, or university—with a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester.
Additional Info:
Recipients may be awarded the endowment a maximum of four times over their academic career.
